Kennan worked to understand protein-protein interactions and biochemical activity of coronavirus replication complexes as they relate to RNA proofreading mechanisms. Kennan’s work in lab was supported by a Biochemistry Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. Kennan graduated in 2024 and continued in the lab for nine months as an Intern. He is currently attending Law School at UW–Madison starting in the fall of 2025.
